Located at 2808 Dunrobin Rd, this project involved the full commercial rebuild of a 12,000 sq. ft. facility destroyed by a catastrophic tornado. With only the slab-on-grade foundation remaining, GoBilds took over from WINMAR and preserved the foundation—saving insurers approximately $500,000. The new structure was built to upgraded superstructure standards, including seismic compliance per Ottawa’s requirements. The rebuild included complete reconstruction of all interior and exterior systems, with modernized mechanical and safety infrastructure. Despite extensive delays due to permitting and insurance negotiations, the $1.9 million project was completed in just 4 months once underway, demonstrating GoBilds’ expertise in managing complex, multi-insurer restorations.
