This municipal building recovery project in Orillia involved the restoration of a 7,500 sq. ft. public facility heavily damaged by fire and smoke. After more than two years of delays under a previous contractor (First Onsite), GoBilds assumed control and completed the full remediation and rebuild in just three months. The scope included major demolition, full roof and rainscreen envelope replacement, electrical system upgrades, and the installation of custom oversized overhead doors to meet municipal service requirements. Valued at approximately $500,000, the project was completed in close coordination with a three-insurer syndicate and in full compliance with municipal building standards—despite strict limitations on public documentation.
